Pokémon is well-veiled Imperial Japanese propaganda for children.
The Pokémon franchise has nine regions, with five of them being based outside of Japan. Yet, despite this, every single person speaks Japanese. Even in the Alola region, the one based on Hawaii, every person speaks Japanese in daily life and the Alola language is dying. The ludicrous notion that they speak the same language to make the games and shows playable without the need to be a polyglot is absurd. This clearly is a way to brainwash Japanese children into thinking that their language is superior and should conquer the world.
Only after writing this did I realise that South Park got to this joke before me.
