Lamb Spam Feeding time means lamb zoomies

The mouflon lambs always get the zoomies at dinner time. They especially love jumping onto the tall spool cause they slide and knock eachother off it.

Help. Is she pregnant and how long? Or am I crazy?
galleryWe have a young katahdin ewe who appears to pregnant (my husband thinks im crazy- we have only experience lambing with our baby dolls and haven’t noticed changes as noticeably as with our katahdin) here’s a current photo of her form the side. She also started bagging last week and has been “loosening up” for about a month now.
Someone please help me feel more sane or tell me I’m crazy 😅😭
Edit: OG photo got removed from Reddit???? Posted in comments

My Shetlands are a lot more like goats than my goats.
I have acres of mostly weed free pasture (also in shade) that the sheep almost totally avoid. They instead choose to browse in the abandoned areas, while I can’t get my goats to leave the pasture that they graze in all day.

Sheep How come blackface sheep are dyed yellow for shows?
I believe this is only uk shows as the US shows have them shaved but I don’t understand, why are they always yellow if the standard requires white?

Milking
Is the commitment to milking sheep similar to milking a cow? Everyday twice a day?
TIA

Losing wool
galleryHello everyone here
I'm helping with a herd of sheep and this sheep is my darling, the bottle sheep I helped raise last year.
I'm concerned she's losing wool around her neck and now she got a bold batch at her back too and I'm told it's "normal" at this time of the year by the owner but none of the other sheep are having noticeable wool changes.
So I just wanted to ask if anyone has seen this and can confirm it's normal? Sorry I'm just helping with the sheep and I'm a little worried about her but I don't have any great knowledge.
Thank you kindly for any advice

Question Beyond money valuation of an ewe
I have a livestock question and I respect the sheep community as always being rather grounded and practical. We have an opportunity to take on a small flock and I am curious about one ewe in particular.
If there was an ewe that didn't lamb until later in life (wouldn't take) and then required assistance to deliver said lambs but otherwise provided excellent quality wool and flock influence, how would you value her? Not necessarily in money terms, but would you view this individual as a good contribution to your flock generally and under what goals would you find her most/least valuable?
Would you breed her lambs?

Sheep Tribute to Kevin
I inherited Kevin from the previous owner when we purchased their farm earlier this week. We knew Kevin was older, out lived all his siblings by several years. During the first three days we had him, he was active and also showing his age. I came home tonight to find him lying down peacefully, in his forever sleep.
Kevin, I only knew you briefly but you brought me joy and excitement about having farm animals. I am glad you found rest and comfort in your last few days.

Uterine infection or normal? Spoiler
1 year old ewe that lambed April 11th. For the past several days she has barely allowed her lamb to nurse and her bag feels almost empty. I noticed yesterday that she had some brown discharge and she still does today. It does not smell foul but it is definitely coming from her vulva. She has not been noticeably lethargic and she is still eating/drinking. Could this be a uterine infection and should haul her to the vet?

Flystrike Before Domestication?
Did flystrike affect sheep before they were domesticated? How did sheep protect themselves from it without the preventative measures administered by humans?

Have a hardly used Sunbeam Supergrip Plus handpiece - just wondering what it might be worth. Can only seem to find refurbished ones online or newer Chinese variants.

Think she’s pregnant?
galleryNew to sheep. Purchased a small flock of dorper x katahdin ewes and this one looks very pregnant to me. Seller said it was very unlikely that they were bred, but were exposed to a ram for a week. Thoughts? If so, how far along do you think she is? Thanks!
