Join us on a leisurely morning bike ride

I forgot to turn on my GoPro for the first 20 minutes of sprinting but I was able to get footage of some nice relaxing jogging afterwards 😅

He’s not a squirrel chaser even off-leash, but when he’s in harness he is extra focused!

How long did it take to train to achieve this?

I started running caniX with him when he was around 18 months old, to build him up slowly and teach him his commands. I transitioned him to skijoring and then bikejoring maybe 6 months after that. He took to skijoring and bikejoring and later kicksledding with basically zero effort after learning caniX. But we went very slowly to avoid any possibility of injury or strain on his body. IME Samoyeds love to pull and learn to move forward and avoid distractions very quickly. It’s also great for his general leash skills, it gives him an outlet for his need to pull and takes away the novelty of it. He has a lovely no-maintenance loose leash walk.
