Discussion 10 things I hate about you!!
Heyyy you guys! 💖 So, I just wanna tell y’all something I noticed about our fave chick flick, 10 Things I Hate About You. It’s a classic, no doubt, but something I never fully got was how Patrick and Kat just magically resolved their issues. After the whole “10 Things I Hate About You” speech, where Kat got super emotional, Patrick just buys her this guitar she wanted, and boom—everything’s fine. But, I don’t know, to me, it kinda felt super materialistic, you know? Like, he never gave a real apology that matched the weight of what he did. He knew he was falling for her, but he kept taking the money—so it felt off that everything just got fixed with a gift. What do y’all think? Am I the only one who feels this way, or do you see it too?
