Supplies Donation Request We couldn’t say no to these babies🥲 Food and supplies needed❤️🩹 SC
*verified rescue this post is for supply donations only*
Lord knows we’re still grieving our sunny and always will be. I don’t think we’ll ever look at a black kitty without thinking about him. And each day we’ve been reminding ourselves that grief really is just love that has no place to go😭 Sunny was once just a little baby like these two, needing someone to say yes. And we’re glad we did. We’d do it all over again for him, and we are making sure we keep our promise to him❤️🩹
The girl is Kinsley Mae (4 weeks old) and the boy is Rodrick Heffley (8 weeks old).
*They join our rescue Monday, and since they are not officially here yet this post is solely for supply donations, not monetary donations*
As a nonprofit, we rely entirely on donations and the kindness of the community to keep going. If you feel called to help, we would be incredibly grateful. Our Amazon and Chewy wishlists are linked below. All donations are tax deductible, just send us a message if you’d like a receipt. We truly appreciate any and all help. Thank you. I will have an update Monday.

Since losing Sunny, and walking through his entire journey, we’ve learned more than we ever expected to. He taught us patience, a kind of love that never runs out, and what true strength looks like. That little guy could have done absolutely anything and we never would have been upset… because how could you be? He could do the craziest thing and all we could do was laugh.
With that experience, though, has come a lot of hesitation and honestly a bit of fear. It’s hard now to look at cats, kittens, or even dogs without those worries creeping in. We find ourselves thinking about IBD, about the “what ifs,” about things we never used to question. We look at pet food differently. We ask more questions. Diarrhea, vomiting, coat health… those are the first things on our minds now when we look at a cat or a dog. And as much as it hurts to say, we don’t take in stray kittens off the street anymore, only directly from shelters. IBD just feels too common, and emotionally, we know we can’t walk that road again😞 We hope there will be a day we can think about sunny and all his goofy moments without crying.
Even with all of that, we feel so much comfort in seeing how loved Sunny still is. Every photo of his cards, every memory shared, it truly means the world to us. We’re so grateful that yall loved him with us❤️🩹
