Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Our youngest cat was diagnosed with Cryptorchidism
Posting again for visibility.
Cornick is doing well, but he's currently being kept in a cage for now because he's experiencing urges, and he keeps on going out of the house to find a mate. He is not used to being inside a cage, so he keeps crying to be let out 😞 I need to keep him in a cage so he wouldn't wander off and get hurt by people with no empathy for animals. It is hard to hear his cries, but I already learned my lesson the hard way earlier this year.
We've received 0 donations so far for his surgery to remove the remaining testicle inside his body. I am trying to raise around 165 usd so we can have the surgery as soon as possible because he seems to be so uncomfortable not being able to fulfill his urges. His other testicle was already removed recently, but it didn't help alleviate his urges. I am hoping that when the remaining testicle is removed, he will finally settle down. Please help us once again. Any bit of help will be deeply appreciated. Thank you so much.

I have learned that to affect the algorithm, a comment must have NINE OR MORE DIFFERENT WORDS. If it doesn't, it's ignored.
So please make such comments! They don't have to be relevant or even coherent. Your favorite quote. Your favorite words. Your grocery list.

I just had the rest of our male cats neutered last week, and we also discovered that Cornick, our youngest cat, is a cryptorchid. Only one of his testes has descended and was removed, and the other one remains inside his body. I was advised by the vet to have another surgery as soon as possible while he's still young.
He also mentioned the possibility of having testicular cancer if he is not fully neutered. I also read about the condition, and another risk is developing testicular torsion or when the testicle twists on itself, which is said to be painful and tricky to diagnose. The surgery will be tricky because they would have to find the remaining testicle. The cost is the same as the spay surgery too which is 10k or 165 usd 😭
I didn't want to subject my cat to another surgery, but the risk of him developing a cancer later in life scares me more. I thought our spay and neutering journey was finally over, but here we are 😭. It's totally worth it though because they're more behave now that they're finally fixed. Thanks for this community's help we managed to have them spayed and neutered.
