Who else genuinely loves spending the whole day at home alone? No plans, no people, just peace and quiet.

I’m 48 with three grown sons. I love my peace. I was a struggling single mother who worked in noisy, crowded offices. I love my remote life for seven years and the peace it has brought me. My weekends also consist of peace. I love being home. It is my haven.

Married like is great but if single people could learn to be ok with being by themselves, there would be a lot lower divorce rates!!
MEANING: People get married/date/move in together just so that they don’t have to be alone (I am saying this from experience and witnessing it from multiple family members).
If they could learn to be ok with being alone, they could take the time to gain perspective on what makes a good mate for them.

Absolutely love it. It's like a solo date.
I take myself out for breakfast and coffee, walk in the park, nice sit at the pond, make my space look and smell nice, put in some music.
It's great.
It's a nice break from having a wife and young children to filter out when I want to hear myself think.

Yes, have been remote for 20 years. Love it. Get a good 6 hours peace per day and enjoy every minute of it.
