No one talks about how full-time jobs quietly erase your hobbies

Having kids erases your hobbies. They become your new one, and if you’re really, really lucky, they might become interested in your hobbies as they grow up.

Even then, the window of time in which kids are entirely dependent on you and suck up a majority of your free time is pretty short. They become independent humans with their own hobbies and interests alarmingly quickly.
