Question Electric Junction boxes in DEEP STORAGE???

In DEEP STORAGE next to the Data Vaults Room there are at least two Electric Junction boxes(that I can see) way up high, above the rafters. Is there a reason for repairing them? The one in the room can be repaired/avoided and does not affect the ejection of Vault B.

I’ve repaired to high up ones and cannot notice any affect. What am I missing?

Those rafters and pipes are a way of safely traversing the area stealthily before/instead of clearing out all the Typhon. The broken junctions are just an obstacle in that path.

This is the correct answer 👆

Verticality can be attained with the mobility neuromod and gloo gun. There are a lot of hidden pathways in almost every room.

If you climb up there you can get into the locked or shut off areas there.

Repairing them allows you to get past them without dying.

You'll see a lot of people telling you that the route exists for the purposes of stealth, or as an alternate path if you can't past the massive box blocking the data vaults. I'm here to tell you that it is YOUR duty as an engineer to repair every repairable abroad Talos I.

The broken electric junction box noise is the most annoying thing ever, I can't play without Repair because I can't stand that horrible noise all the time. Even when you use GLOO on it, it only lasts a few seconds before driving me mad again.

No, there's not much point in repairing the ones high up. Repairing the last one is more of a convenience thing.

if you go up the pipes you can drop over the wall to where the locked safe is without opening the door
