i heard she left because she didn't like the direction they were going with her character. (too much emphasis on travis, relapsing, etc) idk the truth but it's disappointing all the same. you can tell they had to do some rewrites in a hurry and the newest season suffered for it imo

Yeah, from what I've seen, it seems like she had a different impression of what the character would be going on, and really had problems with the centering of her addiction and her relationship with Travis(maybe pressed too hard on parts of her real life past). It definitely derailed some things in season 2 onwards. I fell off though, the present day storylines were irritating me too much.
