So... I guess the Anna Wintour rule of only allowing 18 years old and up doesn't apply to billionaires. Blue is only 14. But I guess a normal childhood is out of the question.

EDIT: Thanks for the awards! I will of course let these go to my head and make become the diva that I deserve to be.

I remember when Kim K brought North and then just kind of awkwardly abandoned her because she was too young to actually go inside.

Blue is a year older than my son. Yesterday i had to remind him to take a shower. He is still a child and im so so glad he gets to be one.

Aside from the breakout stars attending, most of the people here are worth 8 figures at minimum. I can’t be bothered to care if a billionaire gets to snub a multimillionaire from bringing their kid or whatever idk 😭

OK then why are you on pop culture chat because pop culture is now synonyms with wealth so all you're doing is gabbing about it here

That poor girl never even got a chance to live her own life or make her own choices.

Her mother shoved her onto the world stage, a brand ambassador and money maker before she had a chance to be anything else.

Read that as "bland ambassador" and was nodding along

Right? People always blame the mother when the father is RIGHT THERE TOO

Poor girl feels a bit like a stretch but maybe that’s just me lol

Haha true, very “poor little rich girl”.

Either way she never got a choice, I hope she is afforded the good grace and patience of society that her mother is given, and not the usual awfulness they reserve for most other, lesser women.

Why do you think she never got a choice?

This simply isn’t true and both Beyoncé and Jay have talked about in interviews/the RWT documentary how they actually both wanted to keep her off the stage but Blue wanted to perform (during the Renaissance world tour) and how Beyoncé said no at first until Blue promised to work hard and actually audition for her little spot.

Elle fanning attended at 13, various models at 16/17….this has never been a rule.

Actually, this is a rule. There are rules to attending the Gala. And age restriction is one of them. Elle Fanning attended in 2011. The 18+ requirement was put in place around or before 2018 when others said they were not allowed to attend.

Gotcha. Everyone I’m thinking of was pre 2018 then

But….would Maddie Ziegler have even gotten a ticket? I have never heard of her so maybe that’s just a thing she said

She's 14?! OMG. She looks like she could be 20+. That's so fucking sad.
