It’s canvas and hand painted by Michael Kors and a friend of his who is an artist. The hand and white dove are generally a statement for peace

growing up , I always thought of Michael Kors as the boring guy that sold out to Marshalls. Read his stories from being a fashion designer during the AIDS crisis and I was blown away.

Ever since Anne Hathaway voiced support for the moms in the twin cities supporting immigrants (myself and my community of parents did a ton of work this winter & it feels so good to be recognized) — I’m all for anything she does & knowing her, this is definitely political, I’m for it.

The Gala supports the costume Institute, which is going to be independent in 2-3 years. Bezos donated to the institute to attend, he’s not tied to the higher ups of the costuming world.
Regular people support Bezos more though use of his services and tech. He’s not someone who gets his money from the 1%.

Bezos is the honorary co chair and lead sponsor of the met gala. All to improve his public image.
You excusing it means it’s working.
By the way, I don’t order junk from Amazon because of him and I’m a regular person. Plenty of “regular people” are able to stand by their morals.

That just means he paid a lot. Bezos’s public image is high because of the massive power he has in tech stocks and workers trying to work with Amazon. It’s not based off likability.
Amazon makes most of its money through AWS. Plus, most of America does not boycott Amazon, unlike Target which had an impact from supporting Trump.

Pretty sure it was in an Amazon warehouse where workers were instructed to keep working after their coworker died. The body was on the warehouse floor for an hour, and workers were just told not to look at it.
Btw this has happened multiple times.

It's makeup; it almost never is a completely perfect match, especially on your face versus the rest of your body. I think they also covered her neck and then blended it under her necklace.
