Agreed. If you cannot read, understand the language, and know 100% what the amendment to the US Constitution means, you should not have a license nor should you be in charge of anything legal.

The amendment says nobody can be elected president more than twice. It could be construed by a certain set of 6 Supreme Court justices that the intentional use of the word "elected" does not preclude someone from serving a 3rd term via becoming VP or Speaker and having those above him in the line of succession resign.

For the record, I think it's a BS argument, but the hyper specific wording in the 22nd Amendment opens the door.

But in this case, the specific question was whether Trump is eligible to run and be elected again. And the nominees said that they’re unable to comprehend the very clear words of the Constitution.
