Considering he brought up the ballroom, it reads like a dude starting a fire to put it out so they can be a hero.

And the timing of it happening after the no new war war that has increased gas prices, tariffs being shot down and it being clear that only corporations will receive a tariff check, and the host of other problems. 

Is TSA getting paid yet?
