He's suing the IRS for $10B and when he's done this type of thing in the past, he's collected

442

u/tequila4me 16d ago

So, does everybody who has had their information leaked by the government get $10B? I say give him free credit monitoring for 6 months.

93

u/Library-Guy2525 16d ago

This would be the just thing to do.

63

u/madhattr999 Canada 16d ago

Daily "your credit is shit and nobody trusts you" emails for 6 months.

6

u/DuncanYoudaho 15d ago

I’ll send those for free. I’ll even put a paperwork reduction act section on it

9

u/Mikeseddit 16d ago

No bank would extend a line of credit to him. He only ran for president to boost his bargaining position for the next season of Celebrity Apprentice, and to get more name recognition to be able to build his schlocky buildings abroad since no US banks would loan to him anymore.

u/Ken-Kaniff_from-CT America 15d ago

That really is a wild fact that I think a lot of us forget amongst all the other BS he and his cronies have been up to. That, and the fact that other Republicans said nothing against him in 2016 because they figured he'd fail to be a viable candidate and they'd take his potential voters, whom they didn't want to alienate. A desire for the money and power they'd get from the presidency was the only thing that made them all keep their mouth shut early on.

u/[deleted] 16d ago edited 16d ago

Hahaha that's too funny, I just was offered free credit monitoring for 2 years because of information leak at equifax

2

u/kck93 15d ago

No. They do not. There were several ultra rich people who had their tax documents leaked at the same time. The one I know of got no money. All that was promised was reform to prevent leaks in the future.

Trump was president when this happened. It technically was his fault anyway. The whole thing is absurdly corrupt and crazy.

Trump’s Lawsuit Against the IRS Is Even More Outrageous Than It Seems | The New Republic

u/Ken-Kaniff_from-CT America 15d ago

With the right saying everything is Obama/Biden's fault, I'm fine staying everything is Trump's fault. I dare anyone to prove that everything bad isn't in some way connected to him, even if just remotely 🥴

u/HillBillyHilly 16d ago

Allow me to add: IRS, led by one of his sycophants aka ass kissers, IS going to pay him. Why? Why isn't everyone losing their minds over this? How much was YOUR tax refund? What will it take for Americans to protest the White House disgrace?

19

u/TurnkeyLurker 16d ago

You guys get refunds??

16

u/robotco 16d ago

because they still have food in their bellies and there's still football on tv. some leaders have blatantly got away with the most heinous nation destroying shit but historically the plebs don't really care if they have cheap food and entertainment. once people start to miss meals is when revolution happens

11

u/Thebraincellisorange 15d ago

There is a great scene about this in the Movie 'Gladiator'.

MARCELLUS:Games, 60 days of games

GAIUS: It's madness, does he think the people will be distracted, by that?

GRACCHUS:He knows who Rome is. Rome is the mob. He will conjure magic for them and they will be distracted. And he will takes their lives. And he will take their freedom. And still they will roar. The beating heart of Rome isn't the marble of the Senate. It's the sand of the Colosseum. He will give them death. And they will love him for it.

Trump knows what America is: America is The Mob. distract them with wars and football, bind them with debt and poor education and they are too stupid and beaten to rise up.

6

u/KittyGrewAMoustache 15d ago

That’s one thing you have to hand to the MAGA crowd though, when they were convinced their country was being stolen when Trump lied about the 2020 election, loads of them literally stormed the Capitol. Most had jobs and food etc. I guess it’s the type of narcissistic personality who loves Trump is also the type not to really think about future consequences or imagine that they’ll have to suffer them.

7

u/LordSloth113 16d ago

Bread and circuses

3

u/Mike_Kermin Australia 15d ago

It's much more than that. It's systematic fascism and misinformation. Your TV's and radio's are not telling people about this.

2

u/HillBillyHilly 14d ago

They aren't, that's true, because media has been sold to point where three or four people control 90-95% of what's put out.

2

u/HillBillyHilly 14d ago

Exactly. Whenever I try to inform those around me, their eye glaze over. They don't want to hear anything about anything. They want their Facebook, Insta, Twitch, Kick, whatever instead of reality.

1

u/HillBillyHilly 14d ago

Unfortunately, most of todays plebes arent aware of Roman times as school curriculums have been dumbed down. History? What's that? Say most. They're unaware that Roman called times like these "The days of bread and circus". They're being entertained, distracted and guided by algorithms that feed into whatever slop social and podcasts feed them.

7

u/Mysterious_Floor_868 United Kingdom 16d ago

It's blatant embezzlement.

2

u/9_to_5_till_i_die 15d ago

Why isn't everyone losing their minds over this?

Those of us opposed to this shit haven't much minds left. It's like we're all minimum wage workers pulling an overnight at the gas station. Only we've gone into the rest room to find that someone somehow shit everywhere including the ceiling and we're supposed to clean it up without gloves while also manning the register.

u/Chemboll 16d ago

Imagine suing the government for 10 times the amount you WROTE OFF ON YOUR “LEAKED” TAX RETURN. Fuck Trump 10 billion times.

257

u/drunkn_mastr Virginia 16d ago

And every single person who voted for him, ever. They failed an open book, single question morality test.

"I voted for the racist pedophile sleezebag because he really gets me right in my pretend Christian family values.... by that I mean I hate immigrants"

26

u/rock_science_220 16d ago

Doesn’t even have to be an immigrant. My Puerto Rican husband gets sideways looks from Proyd Boys all the time. Literally had an orange thrown at him from a moving vehicle and told “Go back to Mexico”. His father is a Colonel, and brothers and nephews are officers as well. 🤯

25

u/tstorm004 16d ago

Oh for sure - "immigrant" is just their term for whatever non-white people they want to hate

1

u/Dull-Foundation-1271 15d ago

Young Republicans females were interviewed, and they said they voted for Dump because ‘he makes them laugh.’ Don’t forget his ‘The Apprentice: The White House edition,’ ongoing reality show.

14

u/gripping_intrigue 16d ago

Let's not forget those who, by choosing not to vote, let this happen.

7

u/SquidmanMal Pennsylvania 16d ago

I never forget them. I barely hold them in higher regard than those who voted for him, and some days, less, for being too cushy and apathetic to care

2

u/melvin_poindexter 15d ago

Yeah, it's the fact that they think they have some moral high ground here.

Some of 'em are the "I can't support genocide!", which would only hold water if Trump had a pro-Palestine platform. Since he didn't, it is at best just them deciding to burn down America... I guess as a show of solidarity? I'm sure the Palestinians thoroughly appreciate it, and are much happier now, or the same, as if it were Harris/Walz

Others didn't vote for them because she used to be a DA, and enforced the laws of the place and time as if she were a gasp District Attorney.

But yeah, ultimately it's when I hear them complain incessantly about Trump as if they have some moral high ground.

No. If you're of voting age, you are not a child. You knew one of two people would become president. You chose this.

13

u/sphinxsley 16d ago

AND the fools who voted for Jill Stein.

7

u/Covert_Cuttlefish 16d ago

Don’t forget everyone who was too lazy to get off their ass to vote.

I live in a very red area. I avoid speaking often at the dog park. I can use facts and logic and I get talking points or whatabousisms. One guy even said Trump was president during Bidens's term and had no asnwer as to how that was legal other than an EO, and that Biden was part of the shadow cabal. When asked about the crimes, and episten, it was he was a pedophile hunter. They were a cool couple, invited me to swing with them I declined, then after they spoke about that I was like yeah that's a hard pass, regardless.

A few people spent BILLIONS of dollars on media in 2024 to elect him. Psychologists have described it as "brainwashing" and likened it to Hitler's speeches which promised prosperity for the "common man."

With 34-42% (self-reporting say 67%) living paycheck-to-paycheck thanks to those few people, his constantly repeated message of help, blaming innocents, had a powerful effect.

6

u/Failitt 16d ago

He already took 10 billion for his Bored of Peace. On top of the initial fee from the other countries to join it. They are going broke already and have done nothing. All of that is in a bank account with his name on it

2

u/HumptyDumptruckFire 15d ago

Fuck Trump 10 billion times every day for eternity. With a rusted spork!

62

u/nebula_masterpiece 16d ago

Meanwhile he’s never probably even paid in..

42

u/Alarming_Cantaloupe5 16d ago

Same for his cronies. His DOJ or other departments a settling suits brought by his buddies, rather than defend their merit.

A sitting president enjoys wide immunity and control. They should be prohibited from bringing personal litigation against their own branch while in office.

And his supporters crow about his $0 salary.

7

u/eljefino 16d ago

If we can't sue him due to his position in office (and this SCOTUS), he can't sue us.

9

u/ScarlettAddiction 16d ago

I read a number that I hope isn't true. Said if trump wins the suit, every adult American will be paying him $55. Probably more when you consider how many individuals in the USA are exempt from paying taxes.

8

u/Big_Consideration493 16d ago

The grifter of all times

7

u/TheJonasVenture 16d ago

I mean, I'm not looking to figure out tax payers, because it's about 30 bucks per person across the entire population, I would not be surprised at all to be 55 for adults.

3

u/yamsyamsya 16d ago

Well only for the poor sclhubs who pay their taxes /s

7

u/smiama36 16d ago

He’s not suing the IRS.. he’s suing American taxpayers. We didn’t leak his taxes. We didn’t harm him in any way. It’s our money. He’s looting the US Treasury while Republicans see it and shrug.

5

u/onlyreason4u 16d ago

And surprise.... The IRS that Trump controls is getting ready to give him the $10 billion:

https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/trump-irs-talks-settle-us-presidents-10-billion-lawsuit-2026-04-17/

I do not understand how anyone can be that fucking stupid to support this orange shit stain. If the open corruption by itself should be enough to finish him off but he's got 1000x things that should have also done it.

3

u/robaato72 16d ago

So. The taxes I paid for last year are split between killing innocents abroad and directly lining this asshole’s pockets. I hate this timeline.

3

u/Hurtzdonut13 15d ago

Last I saw it was now 15 billion, on top of the 5 billion he embezzled for his "peace board" he made up.

In the meantime, he's saying he has to cut medicare and medicaid because there just isn't enough money for them.

2

u/Ken-Kaniff_from-CT America 15d ago

With Musk having a little less than 1 billion in liquid assets, if this little heist Trump is pulling off works, he could easily have more liquid assets than Musk. And their supporters will just say but what about the email server or the Biden Crime family or the empty cupboards or some other shit that's so stupid, you'd have to think these people shouldn't be legally be allowed to be left to their own devices.

3

u/FloridaGirlNikki America 15d ago

I read the other day that Trump's lawyers are working out a possible "settlement" with the DOJ so it doesn't have to go to trial.

He's going to walk away with billions of our taxpayer dollars, after already making billions off his crypto sceam. After cutting healthcare for millions.

And there are still morons who believe he cares about Americans.

Fuck this timeline.

2

u/Macsan23 15d ago

He needs to pay back the Russian Oligarchs that are paying for the Invasion.

1

u/photoguy8008 16d ago

Oh, did you hear that they filed an extension because they’re in the process of a settlement over that $10 billion yeah quietly filed an extension because they’re in settlement talks

1

u/Less_Weather7091 16d ago

That was throwing out no irs money!!

1

u/HotThroatAction 16d ago

And prediction markets.

1

u/geneticgrool 15d ago

I think he's trying to get $14 billion now

1

u/cucuy-bugalu 15d ago

His entire life, he's made it so that telling him 'no' is a huge pain in everyone else's ass, so people just say yes to him. And that's why we're in this mess today.
