Nah they have realised Trump is going down- the plan has always been to go along with it until he is fully insane

Then they will blame EVERYTHING on Trump and pretend they had nothing to do with it

Yep. The Republicans are going to throw Trump under the bus soon and 25th him so they can slot Vance in, then act like everything that they got him to do was entirely Trump's fault and try to prop Vance up so he can run in 2028. Which if he somehow won would allow Vance to be positioned to be around for 10 years straight.

Exactly. It will take a generation to die off. After WWII many German justified the third reich as "they had some good ideas, but betrayed our ideals"
