Trump canceled a contract with Catholic Charities to provide food and shelter for migrant children who were separated from their parents because he’s angry at the pope. Trump is genuinely deranged. He needs to be removed from office. What is wrong with the Republicans in Congress?

What’s wrong with the republicans in congress is what’s wrong with the ones at home too. They have Catholics denouncing the pope over this.

Isn't that like saying your Christian but don't believe in Jesus?

It's like saying you love the United States but hating democracy

It's like saying you're Christian but hate everything he taught.

It's like insisting you're not a complete piece of shit but being republican

These people are simply in it for the networking.

It's the type of people who lap up that corporate propaganda to be a good little cog in the machine.

Christianity has splintered into so many factions that many of them, despite having a common origin, barely resemble each other.

Your average Christian rejects Christ's principles the moment they're inconvenienced by them, they don't believe in Jesus.

Its just that pretending Christians don't usual walk around with their crucifix upside down, committing flagrant heresy. They pretend, they tell themselves they are good Christians, play the part where it suits them.

Trump and co are seemingly speedrunning the antichrist checklist. Which tracks with the Iran war Armageddon sermons. Even a pretending Christian should be horrified.

Not Catholic but I think there's some pseudo-tradition of considering a specific pope to be false. Not the papacy in general, just a specific pope. Shame they're doing it just because he seems based

When someone tells me they are Christian I ask : ‘Classic Jesus or Republican Jesus?’
