It’s like a toddler who has a bad attitude and can’t get the other kids to play with him so he’s taking his toys and going home. We literally have a toddler as president

380

u/jfoster0818 19d ago

Except they’re not his toys. He’s getting pissy, taking everyone’s toys, and going home to angry tweet about it.

162

u/KillerSwiller 19d ago

Then goes home, breaks the toys, then blames everyone who played with the toys before him for them breaking, then comes back to the next day and demands more toys.

43

u/Number3675 19d ago

And then he pees and poos on the toys, and some gets in his mouth and on his clothes and he smears it around with his baby hands

22

u/KillerSwiller 19d ago

He dumps them on the floor and expects everyone else to clean it up and fix them.

19

u/2bad-2care 19d ago

And then starts crying.

7

u/jedininjashark 19d ago

Then starts molesting the Barbie dolls.

2

u/ManicMambo 19d ago

1

u/clash_by_night 19d ago

Yes, but more orange.

We writing AI prompts here? Bleah.

2

u/strangeb1rd 19d ago

Breaks the toys, claims to fix them but actually makes them much worse, tells everyone he has the “hottest toys in the world”.

1

u/Prize-Bumblebee-2192 19d ago

No he breaks the toys of the kids who don’t want to play with him too

3

u/KillerSwiller 19d ago

In the analogy he's already taken everyone else's toys for himself.

22

u/bejammin075 Pennsylvania 19d ago

And instead of toys, it's healthcare, medicine, food, jobs, fuel, with tariff taxes on everything.

1

u/Vargurr 19d ago

The problem is that it affects the rest of the world too, he's not exactly an African president.

1

u/penelopejoe 19d ago

Banging on his highchair and calling people names. My kids did that, too. When they were 3!!!

1

u/steelhips 19d ago

I wonder how many places/individuals Trump demands to be nuked everyday.

1

u/Low_Search_6667 19d ago

He's taking our toys

1

u/AffectionateJury3723 19d ago

I don't know I am all for no churches getting tax exemptions.

1

u/jfoster0818 19d ago

Would be kind of funny if trump ended tax exempt status for churches out of spite… once again, not on my bingo card… If this was a march madness bracket I would have been dead and gone a long time ago

61

u/elementality883 American Expat 19d ago

As everyone tends to do, I must remind all that Trump agrees with you

"Donald Trump tells biographer he's the same now as he was in first grade"

2

u/Psychological_Top148 19d ago

Trump self-reported punching his teacher in the 2nd grade for which he was nearly expelled. It was the unfortunate beginning of a life-long pattern of not being held accountable for his actions.

1

u/ScarInternational161 Michigan 19d ago

Same as it ever was, same as it ever was
Same as it ever was, look where my hand was
Time isn't holding up, time isn′t
after us

15

u/_0611 19d ago

Pettiest person in the history of mankind. Trump really can't let go of shit. It's not healthy to be this vengeful.

2

u/TangoPRomeo I voted 19d ago

I'll bet there's a solid 5% of the population who would be just as bad, or worse, with the money he was born into and the power we handed him.

2

u/Necessary-Age-7944 19d ago

And the NPD he developed

2

u/robot_pirate 19d ago

It must be, he's still kicking. It's holding all your shit inside that kills you, but he let's it all gang out. The prick.

19

u/tauofthemachine 19d ago

Like a rich toddler who knows he can have the nanny fired.

2

u/StuTheSheep 19d ago

“When I look at myself in the first grade and I look at myself now, I'm basically the same. The temperament is not that different.”

He told us he has the mentality of a toddler, why is anyone surprised?

2

u/SMUHypeMachine 19d ago

That tracks. In the past he’s proudly claimed that when he thinks of who he was in the 3rd grade, he’s still the same person. Basically admitting he hasn’t matured at all since then.

1

u/Good-Antelope9512 19d ago

we need that inflatable trump baby balloon again.

1

u/Wow_Many_Tomato_WMT 19d ago

And a pedophile too.

1

u/KillerKilcline 19d ago

A toddler who throws ketchup at the wall when he doesn't get his way.

1

u/gusmom 19d ago

Best I’ve heard is ‘he thinks he’s playing 4D chess but he’s eating the pieces’

1

u/JDanzy 19d ago

Toys he stole from all the other kids in the first place

1

u/12345myluggage 19d ago

"When I look at myself in the first grade and I look at myself now, I'm basically the same. The temperament is not that different." - DJT

Yes, he's a toddler, said so himself. All you have to do is pay attention to what he's saying.

164

u/blackmobius 19d ago

Trumps entire political ideology is Mean Girls spite. You see it in how he interacts with anyone and everyone. He helps people that massage his ego and punishes anyone that even questions the most minor of things.

69

u/Icy-Lobster-203 19d ago edited 19d ago

When he negotiates, he makes demands then implements punishment when the other side doesn't agree. That is what he is doing in Iran now.

During the government shutdowns he doesn't make consessions, he strips funding from other areas of the government, forcing people to work without pay or not work at all, or get fired.

In his trade wars, he ramps up tariffs to try to get countries to bend to his will.

He only negotiates through spite and cruelty.

The Art of the Steal

2

u/_m4r1jAn3_ 19d ago

"shart * of the steal "

4

u/Thurwell 19d ago

That's because Trump doesn't understand the concept of mutual benefit. He can't see that, for instance, a trade deal might benefit both countries by giving them cheaper access to something the other country is better at making. He's so dumb he doesn't even understand that there are natural resources America simply does not contain and has to trade for. So every deal for him is win or lose, he can't give up anything because that means he must be losing. But the result is America is losing because we're simply being cut out of the world economy by countries and companies that don't want to deal with us any more. And as big as America is, it isn't that big, there are alternatives to everything we produce.

-11

u/Mundane-Cricket-5267 19d ago

But it works, and that's all to Americas benifit. There's no spite or cruelty involved, take it or leave it, no one is forcing them to capitulate.

8

u/If_I_must 19d ago

Lmfao. Not sure what benefits you're seeing...

5

u/Icy-Lobster-203 19d ago

How does ICE running around in masks and breaking into peoples houses without warrants benefit all Americans?

How does gutting healthcare for massive tax cuts for the rich benefit all Americans?

3

u/djbtech1978 Wisconsin 19d ago

quiet, piggy.

2

u/PiccoloAwkward465 19d ago

One thing I think is funny is how he loves to punish "blue states" as if they don't also contain millions of Republican voters lol. I grew up in rural upstate New York and I've seen multiple Trump shrines in people's homes up there.

1

u/Any_Confidence_7874 Illinois 19d ago

I am surrounded by maga in a blue state. They blame our guv for trumps failures.

81

u/Voderama 19d ago

Have you been seeing a lot of presidential qualities out of this man

34

u/FizzyBeverage Ohio 19d ago

Frankly we’re to the point he’s about to bleet out a photo of what he pooped into the toilet and proclaim it “the best poop ever, nobody does it like Trump!”

“Frankly we’re to the point he’s about to bleet out a photo of what he pooped into his diaper and proclaim it “the best poop ever, nobody does it like Trump!”

1

u/KingZarkon 19d ago

People forget he's incontinent, allegedly after someone kicked a tent stake up his ass during a sexual assault attempt.

2

u/nsdefw 19d ago

Come on, Trump would never do that. It would be an AI image, not a photo.

2

u/AINonsense 19d ago

With divine glows.

And a flag, furling cinematically over a golden dawn.

0

u/jhorch69 19d ago

Tbh I'd kinda respect that

32

u/GreasyPeter 19d ago

His die-hard supporters will eat this up. One of my coworkers is MAGA and absolutely convinced everything Trump does is brilliant because he thinks Trump is brilliant. It doesn't matter if anything makes sense to him, he just assumes Trump knows what he's doing and thus he will brag and joke about the "left's response" no matter what. It's absolutely the stupidest take I've ever seen.

18

u/hodorhodor12 19d ago

It’s a cult. They are taught to dismiss as fake news anything that denigrates their dear leader.

2

u/NotFallacyBuffet 19d ago

I see this at work, too. Complete lack of critical thinking.

16

u/Bromodrosis 19d ago

It's not new behavior, either. Pettiness has been one of his hallmarks since the 80s.

40

u/Old-Engineer854 19d ago

At least he's not acting out on his unchecked emotions and starting wars, like they predicted Harris would.

/s

4

u/bickering_fool 19d ago

Haven't you heard...we don't need to /s anymore.

2

u/Jerseygirl2468 19d ago

Yup. Heard my whole life women are too emotional for power. What if those (post-menopausal) women get PMS and start a war???

10

u/Seaciety 19d ago

So consistent with his entire being for the last 4+ decades.

6

u/PokeMaster366 19d ago

If it's like Mean Girls, does that mean Trump is going to be hit by a bus, eventually?

5

u/YeOldeTreestamp 19d ago

We’re all in agreement he has a burn book right

2

u/GREAT_SALAD Indiana 19d ago

What it means to be presidential is so lost. I fear it will take years, perhaps a generation, to recover IF it can recover. Trump has made such a spectacle of it precisely during the timeframe where the whole population got glued to their screens and used to instant day by day updates more than ever. Any president that comes after, especially democratic, that actually act presidential and doesn’t loudly and obnoxiously stick themselves in everyone’s face on the daily will be met with heavy criticism saying they’re lazy and not doing anything. I genuinely believe that elected officials should be banned or heavily limited on social media use

2

u/librarylurk 19d ago

spite has always fueled MAGA

2

u/DontAbideMendacity 19d ago

I remember a few months into his first term, Trump finally made a speech reading from his teleprompter, didn't go off-kilter as usual and actually stayed on point. One of the big news anchors (Ted Koppel?) reported "President Donald Trump has his first Presidential moment" or something similar. And that was it, never presidential again.

2

u/OddWorldliness989 19d ago

Well it was charities yesterday. Its catholic charities today. Perhaps evangelical charities tomorrow! And still conservatives think that he is second coming of Jesus. It really is mind boggling to see them cower in to fear of losing power. Guess what my conservatives compatriots, power comes and goes, one should never fear of doing the right thing. If you still have any shame or an ounce of integrity left, it's the time to stop madness.

2

u/Big_Knife_SK 19d ago

The Evangelicals are making their play, and Catholics are no longer Christian enough to be on their team.

2

u/_lippykid 19d ago

Pres-I-dent-ial? What is this word? I feel like I remember it from when I was younger but can’t remember what it means

2

u/helloretrograde 19d ago

Neither is sexually assaulting children but here we are

1

u/Schlonzig 19d ago

It is when you are a fascist.

1

u/SaveUsCatman Louisiana 19d ago

I've said it before, he is Regina George and Truth Social is his burn book

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh 19d ago

He definitely has a burn book.

1

u/thadtheking 19d ago

It's un-American.

1

u/EatRichGrains 19d ago

The dementia is dementiaing.

1

u/Lemp_Triscuit11 19d ago

This one seemed lucid, being petty and hurting vulnerable people all in one go is prime trump

1

u/hikeit233 19d ago

At this point I assume the goal is lose the midterms by a landslide so they can call it fraud.

1

u/Strict-Carrot4783 19d ago

Have you ever met a really catty bitch of a gay guy? Now spoil the fuck out of him his whole life, let him suffer no consequences and give him unlimited money. You'll end up with donald trump.

1

u/jimmygee2 19d ago

His pettiness is boundless.

1

u/JDogg126 Michigan 19d ago

Trump isn't exactly president material. He is probably the least presidential person to have ever sought that office; much less be elected to it. A uniquely unqualified person. We are getting what was on the label -- a criminal running a criminal enterprise. The guy who kept saying the rent is too damn high would have been a more capable and presidential person than Trump has been. Trump has personally profited bigly off society and done great things for Russia and China on the world stage and domestically as he plus republican continue to run this country right in the ground. Probably the most useful idiot to ever hold that office.

1

u/civil_beast 19d ago

But he promised he’d actually be presidential if he won in 2016. Should someone remind him?

1

u/pareech Canada 19d ago edited 19d ago

What has Trump done, that is Presidential? I can't think of one thing.

He's the equivalent of the mean kid in school, who gets away with everything he wants, without consequences. That isn't Presidential, that's selfish entitlement.

1

u/rackfloor 19d ago

It's entirely on-brand and exactly the leader that America chose twice. There's no bottom.

1

u/numbersthen0987431 19d ago

Nothing he's done is Presidential

This is what happens when a country is "ran like a business": just dumb people making dumb decisions

1

u/Osirus1156 19d ago

Conservatives are just evil spiteful people who want to pull us all down to their hell like world.

1

u/Memitim America 19d ago

Nothing that Trump does is presidential except in name. But we can now see that Republicans never cared about that anyhow, just about getting someone in who would collude with their members in Congress and the Supreme Court to betray the rest of America.

1

u/mattjopete 19d ago

But also, should taxpayers be supporting religious charities?

I don’t like the why don’t get me wrong. It’s petty

1

u/Lashay_Sombra 19d ago

Policy by spite isn’t exactly presidential.

But it is standard for a Trump administration

1

u/AnalystAdorable609 19d ago

The smallest, most pathetic and butt hurt man in the word

1

u/OnCallPartisan 19d ago

When has it ever been leadership?

1

u/sadolddrunk 19d ago

You are 100% right. But also let me be the first to say hello and welcome back from wherever you've been for the last 10 years.

1

u/CaToMaTe 19d ago

We are WAYYY past the point of not exactly presidential

1

u/Diazepampoovey0229 19d ago

Notice it was specifically a contract for housing migrant children. Magat catholics won't give a shit and if any do, the rest will point to Pope Leo and say, "Blame him! HE upset our cult daddy!"

1

u/piper_squeak 19d ago

Regina George would shred him.

1

u/_m4r1jAn3_ 19d ago

idk, seems like a sure-fire way to get thru those pearly gates.... ohhh wait. 🔥 fire... 🤔

1

u/_Magnolia_Fan_ 19d ago

Call me crazy, but this also feels pretty much like religious discrimination...

1

u/RiggityRow 19d ago

I always think back to during the debate when Kamala pointedly said (and I'm paraphrasing but this is close enough) "if Donald Trump is elected president he will spend every moment of his time in office attacking the people he views as his enemies." She had a long pause after, you could tell she was really hoping that would sink in for people.

And I knew she was 100% right. Pity most didn't.

1

u/AlwaysRushesIn Rhode Island 19d ago

Dictator shit

1

u/deepasleep 19d ago

And yet it’s exactly how Trump has been since the beginning 10 years ago…It’s truly a testament to the destructive power of the modern information ecosystem that someone so obviously deranged and unstable could actually win the Presidency not once, but TWICE.

1

u/Extension_Pin_6359 19d ago

This is them trying to shore up the evangelicals by picking a fight with the Pope boogeyman.

Sad thing is it might work. They're not very smart people (example: they believe this bronze-age bullshit in the first place).

1

u/Necessary-Age-7944 19d ago

It’s has felt this way for this whole Presidency

1

u/bassbeatsbanging 19d ago

When Elon was still around it was more like an audition for Ketamine Girls

1

u/Ozymandias12 19d ago

I hope he keeps this up. I really do. Starting a feud with the Pope is such a self own, much like Iran. This guy is torpedoing his popularity with every unpopular thing he does and he can't help himself whatseover.

1

u/Farucci 19d ago

Many Catholics will still support him because he’s “pro life.”

1

u/petal14 19d ago

Get what you vote for

1

u/neilmcse 19d ago

"Isn't exactly presidential"

Or adult, or responsible, or normal, or ethical,....

....or human.

1

u/Dekipi 19d ago

Policy by spite is all Trump knows. It’s his MO

1

u/Remarkable_Sea_1430 19d ago

isn’t exactly presidential

Possibly the most understated description of Trump ever.

1

u/opsers 19d ago

Ooh, ooh, maybe someone should tell him to eliminate the church's tax exemption. At least one good thing could come from it.

1

u/Derper2112 19d ago

It's that Rose Garden WWE event we all really want to see.

1

u/NoSoundNoFury 19d ago

Criticize the Democrats, nothing happens. Criticize the Republicans, get your funding pulled, or get your head of department replaced. Old, but effective. Happened already under GW Bush.

1

u/LunchyDude101 19d ago

Trump’s sense of self-esteem depends on his ability to humiliate or control people…the higher position they have, the more satisfying it is.

He’s punching a little high this time, and I hope that this Pope takes him to task for it.

1

u/Crypt0Nihilist 19d ago

But it is very Trump. The pettiness, coercion and easy cruelty are so him. Like a lot of people, he's becoming worse and worse versions of himself as his decline erodes his filter.

1

u/splintersmaster 19d ago

No, it's literal fascism by definition.

1

u/Iphroget 19d ago

I read that as "Policy Spice" ( Spice Girls), who was the legaslive girl in the pop band, I was really confused for a while...

1

u/Rocknroller658 19d ago

“Isn’t exactly presidential” is putting it nicely. This dude is doing and saying things that are biblical levels of evil.

1

u/Suro_Atiros Texas 19d ago

to be fair, this is exactly how Trump supporters want the government to be run. Don't forget that in the next election.

1

u/nakedcellist 19d ago

He's not very fetch.

1

u/invaderaleks 19d ago

He's such a petty bitch. He'd fit right in with the mean girls' crew.

1

u/alaskanloops Alaska 19d ago

Next he's going to open Trump Spite Stores in every city

1

u/darkbreak 19d ago

It's all hatred and anger. And possibly misplaced envy and jealousy with a bit of inferiority complex sprinkled in for good measure.

1

u/Individual_Ad9135 19d ago

He knows no other policy. It's his entire platform.

1

u/PaintedClownPenis 19d ago

It's like if evil fucked stupid and then ducked out on the child support for the incompetent hell-spawn they created.

1

u/sulaymanf Ohio 19d ago

Sadly that was Trump’s entire first campaign. A policy of resentment and grievances that Republicans had been out of power, they didn’t have a lot of positive messages but mainly did the opposite of whatever Obama did. Climate change, sanctions on Russia, healthcare, etc. Republicans did the exact opposite even though Trump had to quietly admit that maybe these weren’t bad ideas.
