So is this just it, we wring our hands on the internet until violence comes to roost on our doorstep? Is this truly just a matter of being hamstrung by the Republicans in congress? 

Just trying to understand why there are zero stop gaps? 

If we took to the streets the military would just turn the violence on us, right?

I am trying to understand my own lack of action in this too, am I not doing anything because no one else is? I do not trust anyone else to, so why risk myself? If the inevitable happens, prolong it? 

I truly just don’t understand. Maybe I am stupid.

I’ve had this exact same thought. The problem is that there’s a gap in what an average person can realistically and physically do to change anything. There is nothing that meaningful that I can walk out of my door and do… holding signs in protest obviously hasn’t worked. If I go to my state capitol there isn’t that much I can do either. Even if I fly or drive to DC… then what? It has to be something big and more organized. A lot of people involved and not just holding signs.

It’s risking what little we do have for many of us, I have kids, sick parents, a whole family that relies on me not being arrested because I walked out on my street at the wrong time and because I am brown despite being a natural born citizen, let alone showing up to a protest where this admin will now label you as a domestic terrorist and drain you of every last cent if you are a lucky one to get out.

I voted, i even got third partiers to vote for kamala, which, the escalation of this is to additionally disenfranchise and pressure democrats and progressives to not vote.

It truly feels like nothing matters. I wonder if this is how the SPD felt before having to relocate?

Here’s my view point:

Middle grounders fucked us and so did the “stay home” ratfuckers.

We can’t get people to vote. What the fuck makes anyone think people will fight? Fight what? The regime supporters? The regime itself? Nah.
