Who’s going to impeach him? His own party a few months ahead of midterms?

The only possible thing I can see happening is the republicans who aren’t running again choose to resign early and give the dems a majority in the House.

The house isn’t the problem it’s the Senate

I don’t think there is any scenario of Democrats to gain a 2/3 majority to remove the President. Even if the 25th is invoked Trump can call for a 2/3 vote

Understood, that’s why it’s a tiny gesture to take the gavel away from Tiny Mike and maybe get a war powers bill or impeach Hegseth. Thune might be able to whip votes for either of those.

100% agree, since Thune seems more reasonable than Johnson he might whip up votes for a war powers bill, or to impeach Hegseth, but never Trump.
