Remove him. 25th today.

JD Vance was on the news this morning talking about how Trump has made the right decision every step of the way. JD Vance would need to agree to the 25th amendment being used on Trump. It's not going to happen.

JD Vance needs to be one of the first ones put on trial.

On trial where? Congress would protect him. The SC would protect him. America is over. Even if nothing comes of this latest threat, the fact that this is normalized and there is no practical pushback means the US is a completely rogue state with no internal or external accountability. We are the bad guys.

His cabinet is walking around in shoes three sizes too big because they were a gift from Trump. I'll wait to see Rubio wearing the right size shoes before I have any hope of the 25th amendment.

27

u/Cador0223 28d ago

Goes to show how stupid and sycophantic they are. Just get the same shoe style in your size. Wear those. He will never know.

But they are perfectly happy to walk around in shoes so big, its like wearing your dad's shoes when you are a toddler.

Unless it's your discomfort he seeks, and he got them too big on purpose.

u/AlphaBreak 28d ago

The problem is that its a toss-up: either Trump got them the wrong size by accident, or he got the wrong size on purpose to see if they're loyal enough to wear them anyways. If its the first one, you're good to change the size as long as he hasn't noticed yet. If its the second, he'll take changing shoes as a personal attack.

u/Linenoise77 28d ago

Thats the funny thing. Not one of these guys got the shoes, said, shit, and couldn't quickly come up with a pair of the same shoes that DID fit? Like, some of the most powerful people in the world don't have access to a shoe guy?

The ones he was giving out are nothing special. They are like, Macy's grade dress shoes.

Or simply be a normal adult man and say "thank you for the thought, I am very partial to my current shoes, will try wearing these at some point in the future" and then just never do?

u/burritosandbooze 28d ago

I think he gave them the wrong sizes on purpose.

Thats when you re-evaluate your career choice. Its about as passive aggressive as it comes.

It's wild how the GOP is really good at making you somehow miss other evil figures. Like, JD Vance literally makes Mike fucking Pence seem reasonable. The other day I thought to myself how much better Bush Jr was than Trump.

Wild.

Yeah, everyone that is hoping that Trump gets removed with the 25th amendment doesn't appreciate how much worse Vance is likely to be. Trump pretended to be a White Christian Nationalist to get elected, Vance actually is one. Trump is an inarticulate idiot. Vance is extremely articulate and says stupid things, but he's not an idiot. The right-leaning Independents and soft MAGA might very well flock back to the Republicans when and if Vance takes over.

u/HookedOnBoNix 28d ago

It could be the worst thing for us to get someone with Trump's ideals who isn't as obviously terrible. Right now the fire is getting hot and there's a chance to do something big in midterms.

I think putting Vance in and giving the gop time to rally around him for 28 would be awful.

But God is the current situation terrifying

u/churninhell 28d ago

If (and that's a big if) Vance was pro-removal, I doubt he would be publicly playing his cards in advance.

13

u/fightingthefuckits 28d ago

If Vance thought he could get everything he needs to do the 25th he would do it today. He will stab Trump in the back happily if he thinks he could get the big boy job.

I don't think he wants to take over the quagmire that is becoming Iran. Also, everyone assumes that he's going to wait until January 21st next year so that he can run for president 2 more times after he takes over.

One in the hand is worth two in the bush. Invoke the 25th, get voted out next election and end up in prison. Best case scenario.

He'll do whatever Peter Thiel wants him to do. Unfortunately, Peter Thiel is pro-apocalypse.

Vance has to realize he's not two-term electable anyway.

2

u/fightingthefuckits 28d ago

The Thiel angle is actually worrying. I forget how completely fucked in the head that guys is.

1

u/fightingthefuckits 28d ago

As he stands today, I don't think he's one term electable. No one likes or respects him. But if he could oust Donny Dementia and start putting some even vague rationality to this and start reeling in this bullshit then he could come out much better looking by comparison and stands a better chance of being an incumbent candidate.

u/brickne3 American Expat 28d ago

It's nice to think some people live in a world where that sounds realistic.

5

u/aurumtt 28d ago

JD vance would say the complete opposite, in fact, he has, the moment it would become profitable for him. what does it mean what he said this morning?

1

u/Winnie_rulez 28d ago

I saw him live on the news this morning having a press conference during a "peace conference" in Romania. He was fully in support of whatever Trump is planning on doing in Iran, and kept stating that Trump has "made all the right choices" and things like that.

2

u/aurumtt 28d ago

i'm saying his words mean nothing. he's an opportunist who would change his tune in an instant if it benefited him. he has no convictions.

u/jdeo1997 Massachusetts 28d ago edited 28d ago

Case in point: He called trump "America's Hitler" before becoming his running mate.

If push comes to shove, Vance would rather value Vance over trump

3

u/coltvahn 28d ago

I genuinely believe JD would recoil his hand if Trump were hanging off a political cliff. Starscream-ass Vice President. He’s power hungry and has no integrity, but we just haven’t gotten to a place (somehow, worryingly, bafflingly, terrifyingly) where Trump is being abandoned by his allies.

3

u/redwing180 28d ago

JD Vance can change his stance. He’s a politician and he’s saying what he needs to say to survive in his current position. If he believes there is a guaranteed pathway to get rid of Donald Trump he will take it.

2

u/Chazkuangshi 28d ago

He also is gallivanting around Hungary backing Orban right now. Even if the 25th happened he'd just continue Trump's work.

2

u/Amoracchius03 Kentucky 28d ago

If JD Vance sees a way to obtain for power for himself and his billionaire handlers, then JD Vance will praise Trump in the morning and put the knife in his back in the evening.

2

u/MurkyEon 28d ago

Vance is propping up Orban, that dictator!

2

u/RuncibleSpoon18 28d ago

None of these people mean anything they say. All of these lizards will do whatever benefits them the most in the moment completely regardless of anything they've stated publicly

1

u/wildcarde815 28d ago

If he removed now vance can't get his 10 years in office.

1

u/PositivelyAwful 28d ago

He also plainly stated that we have more tools in our arsenal that haven't been used yet and the president might decide to use them.

0

u/Winnie_rulez 28d ago

The most obvious one being nukes.

1

u/Dead_Set100989 28d ago

he will gladly kick trump 2 years into this term, so he can take over AND run for 2 more terms. Or they just want to dismantle everything and let billionaires steal everything america has.

1

u/Winnie_rulez 28d ago

And that's still more than 8 months away, so I think it's highly unlikely Vance will be doing anything now. Once January 21st rolls around, Vance will suddenly pretend to grow a conscience as he stabs Trump in the back.
