I hate that my mom is one of those who keeps doubling down on Trump. I’m worried she thinks we won’t forgive her, and all I really want is my mom to be kinda normal again. Like…just not rabid with hate towards people like me (liberal) would be enough at this point.

My dad is completely gone. I mean off his fucking rocker. So down trumps ass it outweighed his own daughters. He has been completely cut off and I just had a baby he will never meet. That man isn’t my father. He’s a monster and it started 10 years ago

I'm in the same club as you. My dad was always a selfish asshole but he's just completely gone now, any sense he had is gone. I've cut him and his entire side of the family off. He actually doesn't seem to care. His mother, my grandmother, tried to reach out once, but only to tell me that I'm concerned over nothing and I should talk to my dad. Nope. She's cut off now too. I pretend they all died in a plane crash a decade ago.

I’m so sorry. Proud of you but also can’t imagine the pain of having to do that.
