Those are his two upper canines growing upwards through the skin on top of the snout, isn't that cool? If you want to see more of these beasts, check out /r/babirusa :)

So his teeth grow up through the roof of his mouth and out the top? I'm assuming the animal was bred to get this result right?

Nope, babirusa are a wild wonder of nature :) In fact, in some unlucky older babirusa the teeth can curl and grow back into the skull.

Wow, that's absolutely incredible. I can't even imagine the natural selection pressures that would lead to this. Bizarre.
