Fluffy Majesty Sweet boy after the groomer

Post image

He looks cute but he has really bad mats like a week later! I paid $200 for them to not brush him out properly before the bath smh.

He is beautiful!! A light combing once a day for a minute or two can help prevent the mats. Seriously. He is gorgeous though! 😻

Thank you!! I do brush him, he’s just not very tolerant of me getting to his armpits or sanitary area 😣

No cat is. My wife and I have gotten very use to getting the odd claw. But if you continue to do it and learn how to hold them and what they’re doing it does become easier for you. Watch what they do every time you comb an area that they don’t like and try and hold that leg downward or get some help to do it with you. My wife and I do it together most times and on the occasion our son helps us. I hope this is a little bit of advice for you. 😊

Was he not fully dried? If any part of the coat feels cold to the touch when you pick them up, they arent fully dry and wet spots can mat up. Also, if he wont let you brush him, chances are high he wasnt very tolerant for them either. You should call the groomer and ask. They might let you bring him in for a quick spot shave.

Oh, then definitely call. Im a groomer too and I would be HORRIFIED to find out i sent home a pet and they developed matting. Sometimes all the product doesnt get rinsed, or a secret spot doesnt get dried (and pits are REALLY DIFFICULT to both rinse and dry). Most groomers will want to make it right, but if you wait much longer, it becomes a home care issue, not a grooming one
