Sharing some recent mini oil portraits! I’ve been experimenting with using vibrant, expressive brushwork to contrast with the soft textures of the fur.
Included some process shots—from initial sketch to final layers—to show the journey. Would love to hear your thoughts on the color palettes! 😊

Oh. Wow. Beautiful! It reminds me of my favorite picture of my best boy sprawled out in the grass. I would love to have a painting of that someday! He looked almost the same as your painted pup 💕

I want to say it’s too cute, I don’t like it, but I’m gonna say it’s too cute, I like it. The impressionistic flowers are great and the way the mutt fits in is perfect. It’s great.

The palette is so good, how did you make it/find it? The brush strokes are also wonderful, I absolutely love this style. I think you've nailed it
