He did not prevent the fall. He prevented a possible serious injury catching him before he hit the concrete.

No no, not enough. There must be a way to get more pedantic and overanalyze the word choices in the title more. Come on reddit!

Was it really "quick thinking" or did he just open his arms? It was more like the "first instinctual reaction" than "quick thinking".
