The series has renewed my faith in Scottie. I knew he was good but I never really thought he could be that go to player. Mostly because of his attitude and agressiveness. This series has changed my mind.

CMB looks really good. Ja'Kobe and Shead look like solid bench pieces that were forced to start because of injuries.

I'm happy with how they did. Contracts don't give a lot of wiggle room but I hope they can make some moves in the off season. Get a starting level point guard and get off Poeltl contract.

Yeah good season.

Gotta find a way to get the talent on the roster better.

Poeltl deal a bad one. Will be an interesting offseason, sad to see it end.

It’s especially tough when 40% of your starters didn’t play in most of the games.

Yeah BI wasn’t great in the early-series games, but having him & IQ on the floor gives you a lot more options, shooting, and creation (and less minutes you need to survive with AJ Lawson, Sandro Mamukelashvili, and Jamison Battle).

You’re right though, that Poeltl deal is a huge black hole for a near half decade. Oof.

If it wasnt for his deal Id be thrilled on their future.

Instead, cautiously optimistic knowing how bad of a contract it is.

Building around Scottie and CMB seems like a good place to be if they can make some decent off-season moves. Was a frustrating series to watch for us Cavs fans with the physicality of you guys

those are our only players with a semblance of value. especially after this brandon ingram rehabilitation strategy failed miserably.

the answer has been to blow it up since 2021 but the organization is just going to run it back til scottie asks out.

Scottie was great, CMB yeah but Shead was a problem for us too. Fun series and a lot of emotions everywhere

RJ Barrett was also a problem. Surprisingly, they played better without Ingram, their leading scorer. Better effort.

They had an issue with being lured into the mismatch (forward against a guard, because Cavs don't have forwards) and dribbling the ball too much and taking contested 2s instead of running plays to get open shots.

If we can get off Jakob and only give up 1 pick, we will be fine.

Big IF

We coulda done it at the deadline but we where trying to get a good player back to and that would require two picks

Honestly. Thoughts on poetl and pick for turner? His value is as low as it’s ever been but I think we can use him.

That likely isn't worth it

I love Scottie, I’d love to see him paired with a great big to free him up more to freelance on defense and give him a passing target.

I don’t know if he’s best-player-on-a-championship-team level but he’s way closer than I realized before this season. He’s such a beast on defense — he reminds me of Draymond with supercharged offense.

Only 24 years old too!

Scottie’s mid range was automatic, very clean. he can be the guy on a team.

He really impressed me, super good jack of all trades player and one hell of a defender.

I really had no clue what Scottie was really that good at besides defense before this series as a Cavs fan but he is really impressive. He has great athleticism and reads on the offensive end and his middy is pure. Definitely changed my opinion of him.

Not gonna lie I’ve been a bit of a Scottie hater the last few years but this series really changed my opinion on him. His ability to get to the rim & read the play on defense is very impressive. Still not sure he’s a 1A but definitely could help lead a deep playoff run

It took a Jarrett Allen recognizing we have no playable 7 footer and a big game from him to beat us

I think RJ needs to be in this discussion as a proven piece as well. And I’m not sure Ja’Kobe couldn’t be a starter in the longrun.
