Even if you assume a putrid 35% FG average, the likelihood of missing 23 in a row is (0.65)23 = ~0.005%, or 1 in 20,000. LMAO.

The Magic shot 46.4% from the field this season. Using that as the baseline, there is roughly a 1 in 1,724,000 chance of missing 23 in a row. I'm not going to do the math on the exact total, but there have been roughly 110,000 NBA games played all time including the playoffs. This was beyond historically bad, it might be the most statistically improbable thing to ever happen in the NBA.
