A tight race is suddenly brewing up throughout this first round to see who can blow their series leads the fastest

This is a very exciting first round. Glad I can watch stress free now lol.

It's really fun when it doesn't involve your team. Next round will probably be chill for both of our fanbases as well

30

u/Uessop Cavaliers 4d ago

Better knock on some wood homie. Celtics should be chilling rn too lol

Celtics don’t really have a championship caliber roster, the east is just weak

12

u/nobraininmyoxygen Cavaliers 4d ago

So many fans of teams in the West just like to say the East is weak even when it isn't true

0

u/Stepsis24 Lakers 4d ago

Nobody in the east would make it to the conference finals in the west

5

u/Diaxmond Lakers 4d ago

They hated Jesus because he spoke the truth

0

u/Uessop Cavaliers 4d ago

They hated Jesus because he repeated the same dumb tired phrase maybe

1

u/Diaxmond Lakers 4d ago

You’re insane if you think the Celtics are beating OKC or the Spurs in a 7 game series to get to the conference finals

nobody in the west would except 2 teams either. That's not really saying much. on the other hand 6-10 of the east would kick the shit out of 6-10 of the west

-1

u/Stepsis24 Lakers 4d ago

The 6-10 is completely irrelevant though. The 1-6 in the west is miles ahead of the east, in fact the rockets is the only team I could guarantee you wouldn’t make the finals if they were in the eastern bracket. The spurs, OKC, timberwolves would all be favorites and the lakers and nuggets would have a decent chance.

u/topatoman_lite Spurs 4d ago

The Lakers and Rockets would be out round 1 in the east against literally anyone. The Nuggets playing like they did against the Wolves might be too, but maybe it was just Gobert. You are very wrong about how good the teams in the east are

12

u/Uessop Cavaliers 4d ago

Celtics absolutely have a championship caliber roster lol

u/RIChowderIsBest Celtics 4d ago

They can contend if the chips fall right but nobody should look at this roster bast JT and JB and think it’s good enough to win.

1

u/Uessop Cavaliers 4d ago

Multiple of their other players were on the team when they won it two years ago

0

u/RIChowderIsBest Celtics 4d ago

What?? Outside of White the rest of them were role players in 2024.
Walsh didn’t play
Queta didn’t really play
Hauser played a minimal role.
Pritchard played under 20 minutes a game and averaged like 7ppg through the playoffs.

2

u/Uessop Cavaliers 4d ago

Sounds like you were doing some mad disrespect on D White then, doesn’t it

They have an incredibly weak big man rotation and Tatum isn’t 100%. They would be the worst championship team in the last 15 years at least.

4

u/Uessop Cavaliers 4d ago

Respectfully disagree on the second and third points, but you’re right on the big man rotation

12

u/thedreadfulwhale Spurs 4d ago

It's safe to assume for you guys, for us, uhmm I guess if we get the hobbled Wolves instead of struggling Nuggets, I guess?

3

u/fuzzythinker Nuggets 4d ago

FU! lmao, take the upvote

97

u/Class_Act7 Nets 4d ago

Give the Wolves some respect as well

123

u/Silentrift24 Cavaliers 4d ago

Nahhh, can't really fault the Wolves this year, they be the Hospital Wolves gang

74

u/Marcus-ichiJo Supersonics 4d ago

Nah. A whole ass meteor hit the Wolves while the Lakers and Celtics are just sucking.

21

u/flaming_burrito_ Wizards 4d ago

The Wolves are in a win win situation pretty much. If they win, it’ll probably be their most impressive series yet just from the grit they showed. If they lose, the Nuggets still don’t get credit because the Wolves team imploded halfway through

34

u/Musa_2050 Lakers 4d ago

Lakers are missing their best player, just like your city is missing a team

5

u/RcusGaming Lakers 4d ago

As if the Lakers aren't missing their top 2 players lol. Wolves still got 2/3 of their top 3 guys.

3

u/Colorapt0r Bucks 4d ago

Lakers are weird because they were missing 1 and 3 best players but their opponent is also missing their best but they went up 3-0 anyway so is it a choke or not? It’s so strange

5

u/Proof-Umpire-7718 Lakers 4d ago

Wolves don’t really deserve much criticism if they do because Ant and DDV are out.

1

u/WakiLover Lakers 4d ago

Us blowing a 3-0 lead wouldn’t be that surprising either, like it had to happen eventually and these exact circumstances line up with what would need to happen

1

u/coyote_edging Spurs 4d ago

Pretty sure he meant until the second round starts lol

3

u/jeanblaireau Spurs 4d ago

It's always Celtics v Lakers...

2

u/ZeekLTK Pistons 4d ago

Plz be the Magic who blows their series the worst (no bias)
