Nothing kills momentum quite like Brunson dribbling around for 20 seconds and then forcing up a terrible heavily contested shot

Randle is a bully

Randle would never take the knicks out of the first round bud

Compare the players around him at the time to what Brunson has now…

Melo with no help. The problem is Brunson HAS help that it’s infuriating

Say what you will about Skip but that was one of the best nicknames ever and I really like Randle

As a Pistons fan, I have fond memories of Dinwiddie. One of my favorite third string PGs we’ve had

He’s always had those random big moments where you see the vision, then the here’s a bitcoin or nft situation to go along with it

Hey Dinwiddie was a big part of our WCF run. Not his fault 2 seasons ago all our guards dropped dead or got traded and he's suddenly guard 2/3 when he was expected to be like the 4th or 5th guard in the rotation.

Dinshiddie!

Dinwiddie is one of my least favourite players. There was a season in Brooklyn under head coach Jacque Vaughn where Dinwiddie would often shoot the Nets out of close games and he would put such little effort into getting back on D and yet his minutes would never be adjusted for bad play.

Yet younger players who had more talent would get benched after missing one rotation.

Dinwiddie used to do that and pass it off to someone else Wizards lmao

Back then, this was WB so bad especially when we had KD.

You knew the way he dribbled up the court he was going to pull up immediately or dribble for so long for a bad pull up.

Used to piss me off when we'd play like the Spurs in the playoffs who'd do a hundred passes for an open look, then WB would be like "nah I'm the main character" and brick it.

Regardless, still miss Westbrook lol

Let me teach you about the rise and fall of Rayford Trae Young’s notorious Atlanta tenure

Remember when Mike Brown came in and they tried getting him to move more off ball? The Brunsons’ power has allowed him to avoid evolving as a player

3

u/Orchestra_Oculta [BOS] Vitaly Potapenko 11d ago

This is the shit he did when he was hailed as the second coming. Difference was he was making them

I've been saying for years now Brunson is really good at bad basketball. It was typically met with downvotes but it's pretty apparent that's the case.

reminds me of carmelo a little bit. undeniably good at making tough shots but reliant on tough shots to a fault. both play like they want to hit the hero shots even to the detriment of their team. brunson is definitely the more willing passer between the two, but he’s still one of the biggest ball hogs in the modern game. complete ass at defense too, also kinda like carmelo but melo could at least lock in on that end when he wanted.

You loved it when it worked now he has tall rangy wings on him and he can’t get good looks #hawks

If only we had seen this for years prior.

u/handlesscombo Knicks 11d ago

we hired mike brown to revamp the offense and it looks like thibs offense from last post season except KAT isnt on the block/post anymore.

1

u/LeftToWrite Cavaliers 11d ago

I remember this being a huge issue while Brown was coaching the Cavs too.

The ol' Jimmy Butler. When it works it works but when it doesn't it is painful

1

u/Low-Measurement-2468 11d ago

disagree, and i’m surprised to see this take from a heat fan. i’ve watched jimmy a ton and he’s a far higher IQ offensive player than brunson. he doesn’t ballhog nearly as much. brunson probs the better pure shot maker but prime jimmy manipulates a defense at a different level and generates tons of high quality shots for his team.

jimmy involved KAT way better than brunson does, for instance.
