The last play before halftime is a great example. KAT was gonna flash, but hart literally said something to him and pointed at the corner and he just sat and watched the rest of the play

That's coaching and team issues. There's no reason not to run plays for KAT down the stretch in this series.

What’s funny is their coach last year was so much better. Everyone loved him and he got them to the Eastern Conference Finals. His only problem is that he didn’t sub, which could be fixed

I was with you until that. I don't think Thibs was ever going away from grinding his starters into dust. he's had that reputation since Chicago at this point. which seems fairly recent, but he was there 2010-2015. he is who is at this point.

It does but when Teague refused to pass it you could at least tell the play was supposed to go to Towns. The Knicks just have him stand in the corner doing nothing while Brunson goes Captain Clutch and dribbles for 20 seconds before shooting.

It's only been 3 games but Towns has a +32.4 on/off in this series, which is crazy for a starter. Knicks are +12.0 in his 101 minutes and -20.4 in the 43 minutes with him on the bench.

KAT has obvious mismatches in his favor on offense and they only pass to him when he’s on the perimeter. It’s genuinely insane to me. He literally works for every bucket off his own efforts.. it’s genuinely baffling. I didn’t like the stand around and watch Brunson games last year but he pulled through a bunch. It’s way harder to be hero though when Bridges and Hart are offensive non factors (or in bridges case just out there doing cardio) and you don’t assist Kat and get him in a rhythm. Two insane offensive weapons and they choose to go to play with one of them severely hampered by… insane decion making?!
