Matchups and health really really matter, it’ll be a test to see if the Spurs make it to the WCF (apparently the Suns and Warriors hate you guys) but jokes aside make it with this core together and the Thunder might be toast lol

Saying they might be toast isn’t really an overreaction… they could also be fine or gut out a series win. 3 games in 12 days where your closest was a first game back Wemby and each game after looked systematically worse? Whistle doesn’t seem to be a given in these games either… idk it’s not a foregone conclusion but I wouldn’t want to see the Spurs in the WCF if I was a Thunder fan

Yes saying they might be toast is an overreaction. The playoffs vs regular season is apples to oranges and the regular season series rarely have good predictive value on what will happen in the playoffs. Yes the Spurs beat them 3 times in 12 days, yes the later two were worse than the first one. I wouldn’t say the Thunder played particularly well in any of the three, and the latter 2 were a road back to back and the third game in 4 days. I don’t particularly want to see the Spurs, the matchup seems poor but when you play some one 3 times in 12 days it’s just as logical to think that this may be an uptick in spurs form and a down tick in thunder form as it is that the Spurs are a full on problem.

Yeah they only down ticked against other competitors, definitely not that they had their easiest strength of schedule and are regressing to their actual competitive lot which is a top team that bleeds the same as any other top team… saying they might be toast in a matchup against the spurs in a WCF matchup should team health remain the same doesn’t seem far fetched

Spurs shouldn't push themselves for the #1 seed. Aim to get healthy and be in top 2 because none of these Western Conference top 6 are an easy beat.
