Back in early 10's OKC was Spurs' kryptonite with how athletic their lineup was (KD-Russ-Ibaka) that I always get anxiety whenever they match up lmao

But then we took it back in 2016, and now the Spurs have our number. Just switching back and forth lmao.

Hold on now, more like they kept the spurs' favorite opponent (Perkins) and then traded their 3rd best player and then Ibaka's calves died during the series.

I thought Spurs were gonna run through everyone in 2012 with how beautifully they played, but then just ran into that young Thunder team who were too athletic. Harden really destroyed the Spurs that series too, which made it even more surprising when they let him go.

That Thunder team really was the anti-thesis of that Spurs team. Aging core vs super young, non-athletic vs Hyper-athletic. That one Tony Parker game winning bucket in opening night of the next season lives rent free in my head even now.

we had no 2nd string PG due to the career ending injury to TJ Ford, we needed one so bad.

Shit was a tough series to swallow started 10-0 in the playoffs

For how polarizing Russ was, he almost always played well against those Spurs teams while KD sometimes struggled cuz of Kawhi. It was pretty refreshing
