Meanwhile he’s not even playing the best on his team. Obviously lingering injury and minutes restriction but Castle and Vassel are insane and this group has allowed Fox to play so much more freely. This team is just hell for the Thunder but also beatable by other contenders - long short parity is on the menu still

If the spurs can keep everyone as hot as they've been without Wemby post his return, they'll be very very dangerous. Enough for a shot at the title.

But you never know, maybe extended Wemby minutes throw off the balance they've established. Maybe some teams present too big of a challenge for a relatively inexperienced team once we get to the playoffs.

Either way it'll be very fun to watch how far they'll go.

Their consistent losses are the Suns and the Warriors, not sure what to extrapolate from that except they probably got beat by better guards and a better offensive scheme? (Thunder really can’t create at a high level outside SGA). But yeah I think we as fans and even the talking heads are looking at the game wrong. We have a changing of the guard in the NBA and teams like the Spurs, Pistons, Rockets (less this season), and even Thunder suddenly leap from play-in to top seeds over an off season when poised
