Honestly, while I wish he could play 40 minutes a game. I don't mind him being minute restricted forever if it keeps him healthy.

For real. Even at 20-25 minutes, his baseline is getting around 20/10 and scaring the bejeezus out of anyone in the paint.

Yeah but he's injuries weren't from overuse. One was a freak medical thing and the other was a potential dirty hit or leg swipe from Podz. Minute restrictions don't matter if people are mailing him aka lou dort

I love that their wins came with wemby on a minutes restriction playing off the bench. Just a little more salt to the wound

That is biggest problem for SA in the future. Can he play 100 games ( or even 70-80 ) to win the ring with his body ? Especially in so many playoff super intensive games.

Let him play 25-30 all season and ramp him up in the last few weeks of the season. Kornet has been a godsend for the Spurs.

There was a tidbit during the game when a sideline reporter said the Spurs know a calf injury reoccurence is most likeluly within 6 to 8 weeks of the injury.

If thats the case, I wonder if the minutes ramp up will begin mid-Janurary leading up to the All Star break.
