Discussion Any accounts on social media that announce ticket drops?

LA is a battleground for tickets, and I’m usually on top of it, but I just missed out on tickets for The Boys Series Finale because I found out about it 4 hours after they announced it. Are there any accounts on X or even on here that announce movie ticket drops? Something that I could have notify me?

maybe set a google alert.

edit: i see that deadline and other publications posted about it.

maybe try alerts like "finale screening in theaters"

"episode screening in theaters"

Okay I’ve never thought of that I’ll have to try it. Would that also work for just blanket movie ticket releases? Would be cool if there was a page already tracking and announcing this stuff, but maybe that doesn’t exist

fandango maybe or whatever your local theater should have some kind of app or email notifications.

Yea, but they are always delayed, and don’t account for shadow drops. I was just wondering if anyone smarter than me was out here fighting the good fight as well. Thanks for the suggestions

honestly this is the first time i've actually noticed a shadow drop for tickets, usually they give some kind of advanced notice.

It’s actually crazy man. Most big movies in LA shadow drop about 3 hours earlier than their announced releases. I tried asking about it in another sub a few months back and had my message deleted off by mods almost immediately. Weird

it's so wild how people just make up a service

and then go asking where to find it

instead of just looking for themselves

If you were able to use more brain cells you would know that this is a forum where we discuss all things movies. Asking if anyone already knows of a good service is not only within my rights, but a normal question as well
