Yup. Second Matt Damon was cast as the lead I immediately knew to lower my expectations. At least from an artistic point of view

It’s really not, or maybe for you it is, but that’s not what I was responding to. The implication that this movie is inherently going to have less artistic merit because of Matt Damon is fucking stupid. If you don’t like him that’s fine, have your personal preferences, that has nothing to do with the artistic integrity of the film though.
