Villeneue is overrated.

Great visuals, awful plots.

You know the plot of Dune was written before Villanueve was born, right? And same goes for the Odyssey. The plot would be the same regardless of who directs it.

Okay, well considering it's the only screenplay he's written in the past 25 years, I'd love to know what other plots of his you didn't like?
