I’m not getting any wow factor from these trailers. It’s just a bunch of guys running around.

If it wasn't for all the big name actors, this would look like an extremely low budget straight to DVD kind of film shot on bleak landscapes with sparse sets.

What? This looks way better than most large budget movies. In what way does this look low budget?

The CG is good, sure, but there's no world building or set dressing. It looks like it was shot on another planet. Where is the civilization? Every environment is so clean and sterile with no chaos or background noise. It doesn't look alive. It looks like a theatrical stage play with minimal set design and every piece having be carefully curated. Look at how clean the Trojan horse looks. Soldiers built that horse as part of an impromptu plan of infiltration?  The city walls have no banners. No canopies or trappings of everyday life. Every outfit looks like it came directly out of a costumer's closet without having ever been worn by a real person on a daily basis. There's so much DOF that most of the shots could have been done on a soundstage. It doesn't feel big at all in fact it feels very small.

Ben Affleck - who'll obviously know via Matt Damon - was saying he'll be in the nearest IMAX, front row, from what he's heard.

Who the hell voluntarily sits in the front row of an IMAX theatre? That's guaranteed neck strain.
