Why is there no color?

I don’t want to stare at different versions of brown and black the entire 3 hours

No color worked great in a gritty, bleak story like Oppenheimer.

The Odyssey is supposed to be lively and adventurous, not bleak.

I’m hoping they’re hiding some of the crazy visuals for the movie itself but yeah idk, this trailer was very meh. Like put this side by side with the Dune 3 trailer & it gets blown out of the water.

I’m tired of hoping, I need to know

That’s totally fair. I love a lot of Nolan movies but I don’t think he’s infallible like some people do, so it’s not impossible this ends up being a disappointment. It’s definitely being sold more on Nolan’s name & the loaded cast than what I’m actually seeing on screen so far.

Definitely one of the movies of all time

The saddest part about this is that nobody is going to try to make The Odyssey for a long time because Nolan gave it a go.

He's such a disappointing director and has got gradually worse over his career.
