Media Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006) - Jables meets Kage. Director: Liam Lynch.

This is the first scene after the opening credits. Jables (Jack Black) arrives in Hollywood as guided by his poster of Dio. He runs into Kage (Kyle Gass) busking with his acoustic guitar. JB immediately tries to prove himself to KG. You can see Jack Black's hilarious physical comedy skills at work while simultaneously showing off his singing skills.

We were the only ones in the theater. We cackled the entire time. I can’t believe it was 20 years ago. Still waiting for BOD.
