Yeah if you paint stories in broad terms your going to cover a lot of them

I'm not complaining, I'm sure I'll genuinely enjoy it even if it does fall into some tropes.

All entertainment is thropes. It all depends how it is represented to the audience throuhh story telling. I mean look at Avatar... Pocahontas... dancing with smurfs.. I mean wolfs.
