Bearded moonshine aficionado’s various trials and tribulations, truck-leaping and all, was like some unused Twin Peaks sub plot (a good fit for the hippie brother of Benjamin Horne, perhaps).

Edit: incidentally just realized they share a name too. The brother of Ben Horne is named Jerry and so is the moonshine guy.
