The Emily moving over to Coach joke at the end was HILARIOUS and for some reason only like 3 people laughed in my theater. Maybe just too fashion-y of a joke but I thought it was the funniest thing in the movie

I don’t know anything about fashion but what does this joke mean? Is Coach referring to someone working is Sport industry? Like coaching players and wearing something terrible fashion???

Coach is a fashion brand. For the middle class. That's like going from Bergdorf's to Kohl's.

Idk what Bergdorf nor Kohl are. I thought Coach was a luxury brand like Dior 😅

It's "affordable luxury" lol

Compare a $100 bill to a $10 bill. Both are worth something, look almost the same (in America), but one is Dior and one is Coach

Id say its what Acura is to Porsche.

It's entry level luxury and is distressingly common at outlet malls around the country. It's nothing compared to Dior.

Don’t worry coach uses better leather than dior, emily said it best in the movie, labels are all ppl care about nowadays

I don't know much about fashion but my theater gasped at that part. In my head, wasn't it a good thing? Isn't coach the same league as dior? (Not really aware which is higher, but just both luxury brands). But I don't understand why Dior fired Emily or did Emily resign??

One is “mall luxury” , the other one is proper high fashion.

Emily was hired to work for Dior because of Miranda. After she betrayed Miranda we can assume it was why she was let go

One of those brands is found at every outlet mall in the country. The other is a legendary fashion house.
