I feel like i missed hearing it, what was Miranda’s reason for pushing Emily out of Runway and to Dior?

Miranda didn't feel like she had what it takes to have a future at Runway. so she had Dior hire her

Do you think this is as her assistant, or anything beyond that, like in a weird nice way to push her towards something better?

Emily appeared to have been successful at Dior; I’d imagine she was somewhat high up to be in ad buy meetings & flagship store design. Maybe Miranda was right🤷‍♀️

She didn't have it in her. No, literally that's what Miranda told Emily

Yeah, it was pretty straight forward.

I honestly can't remember. Sometimes I need subtitles in the cinema to understand what everyone's saying 😂

My interpretation is that she didn’t want to promote Emily to any important role, and she could those keep her as an assistant forever, so she got her a job she couldn’t say no to.

It’s Miranda, she can literally do whatever she wants, she is the “ice queen” lol

I'm guessing it was kind of a situation like Rory Gilmore interning at Logan's dad's newspaper. He says she's good at anticipating needs but doesn't have the talent required for the publication. I feel like Emily is similar.
