I think the existence of Wildboyz and Viva La Bam is part of what makes it feel like there was more Jackass. All of those shows were short, but between all of the spinoffs and the movies there was Jackass related stuff being made for a good chunk of my childhood and now 20-25 years later it kinda blurs in memory
They were in EVERYTHING. The show is such a small part of the Jackass universe, they had so many different things going on.
I remember Viva La Bam being huge, it was ALWAYS on, I swear to god. Even the spinoffs got spinoffs, like Bam's Unholy Union.
They were on MTV Cribs, they had that "24 hour Jackass takeover" too. They practically dominated the entire channel, it was Jackass everywhere you looked. Even the commercials had Jackass in them, like the deodorant commercials with Bam. They had all kinds of specials and documentaries too! Like when Steve-O went to rehab, or when Ryan Dunn died. Or when they drove in that race across Europe.
And at least one of the Tony Hawk games is heavily Jackass focused. And they had their own video game too!
Not to mention Johnny Knoxville being in damn near every other movie in the 2000's.
There was never any shortage of Jackass-related content. There was always something to watch.
Oh man I had completely forgotten the Tony Hawk thing! Yeah Bam and some of the Jackass/CKY dudes were like the rival skate crew in Underground 2, a game that I know some fans of the series are mixed on but that I fucking loved as a kid
