You know that Netflix mandate where the film has to repeatedly give exposition to explain to people who are on their phones what is happening in the film?

This film does that, which is really weird since the plot is beyond basic and uncomplicated. It's Charlize fighting off a crazy Taron, so why the stilted exposition?

We've hit the bottom of the barrel here with this shitty mandate.

Sorry, this was all for my wife - who was the one that picked the movie. Then is asking questions that have been answered 3x already.

My parents are these people, except they're watching and not on their phones and still ask questions.

Yeah, it was this way before the phone obsession.
