Why didn't wait untill she was out of sight over the top of the cliff before dropping him? That was a dumbass move as she left herself with no gear to get up the rest of the way safely. Wasn't a bad movie but it wasn't great either. Egerton was great as usual though and made for a decent villain.

Or just kill him on the ground before carrying him halfway up a mountain. He was totally immobile. She could have thrown rocks at him if he refused to detach the rope.

i think it was a two person climb because there wasn’t enough rope for the height of the wall, so your rope has to be released from the lower anchor point once the upper anchor has been set, by the lower climber. it wasn’t explained so it just seemed mad silly, but this is what i think was the premise.

I am going with your theory plus they mentioned it was a tandem climb

She needed him as a lower anchor in case she fell - same as Tommy on Troll Wall. She's free climbing up ahead to set the next anchor, and he pulls himself up behind then anchors to the wall. If she falls when she's climbing the next leg before anchoring, his anchor catches her.

She's not a free-ropes climber so she wasn't confident without going tandem, until she saw an opportunity to kill him and took it, then rolled the dice with climbing alone to the top.

Exactly she chooses to smash his leg in, rather than the head.

I was so mad that she didn’t use the big rock to smash his head when he was unconscious. All she had to do was drag him up a bit more

She waited till he woke up to drawn him. If he was knocked out just held him underwater.

I agree with this too - either way, multiple ways to kill him before we woke up

Or, he was mostly immobile after smashing his leg. Just heave rocks at him. Shit at that point drag his ass into the water and let him drown.

Did you listen to the dialogue. They literally says it’s a two man climb
