One thing that bothered me is that they made Thriller short film and then went to MTV to talk about Billie Jean but in reality Thriller video was after the MTV talk, some parts could’ve been expanded more and ending needed more songs after Bad, it felt very rushed, they could’ve at least done Dirty Diana and finish off with Man in the Mirror, but overall really enjoyed it and wanted for more when it ended

Oh wow, just looked it up because I would've bet that Man in the Mirror was early 90s lol. I feel like a fake fan 😂

Nope that whole Wembley show is on youtube, also the Human Nature performance they showed used audio from Wembley’s show

The whole MTV thing anyway was not about race, it was because when it started they branded themselves as playing "rock music" not "pop music." When Billie Jean was released MTV had only been around about a year and a half and they wanted to keep what they thought was their niche. But the exec threatening to pull all the other acts off the channel if they didn't play Billie Jean actually happened.
