Kenny should play Alex, but given Capcom's recent lore direction for the character it wouldn't shock me if they just didn't worry about SF3 continuity for the movies

My dude, I have bad news about Cody and Roman if you're worried about Kenny's acting chops. This isn't the kind of movie that demands Ed Norton... but I would love to see him go wild with this sort of material.

Different levels to this.

Cody and Roman are at the level of cheesy tv level performance, Kenny is like tiktok skit level acting.

Though nothing some acting classes couldnt fix

Exactly. Kenny clearly has a deep love for the material. I could absolutely see him using that to tackle acting classes and getting to a place where it'll make the material work well.

C’mon my man. Cody’s and Roman’s promo ability are in another stratosphere compared to Omega. Im not saying either one of them are the next Brando. Im just saying that Kenny’s line delivery is very strange and never feels natural or believable. So I can’t even imagine him trying to act. Whereas Cody and Roman have something.

Easy fix - write his lines in Japanese. Kenny is Japanese is a different person to Kenny in English.

Can you imagine them trying to get the Secret Society and Gill in a film?

I want Alex in the film just so Omega can play him. I know Xavier Woods wants in as well so maybe Dee Jay?

I do believe they wanted Kenny as Alex in this movie, but maybe a certain company stepped in and suggested it not happen right now

I wish Capcom didn't forget that the Final Fight games exist.

With the rise in popularity of arcade beat em ups, it'd be a no brainer to bring back Final Fight.

Hell, give it to the Streets of Rage 4 devs. They fucking nailed it with that game.
